Terms of Service
Last Updated: [April 17, 2026]
By accessing the ScrubX website or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Accuracy of Estimates
The ScrubX Instant Pricing Tool provides a baseline estimate based on user-provided data. This is not a final contract. A formal, fixed-price quote is only issued after a physical or remote site assessment by a ScrubX specialist.
2. Property Access & Boundaries
The client warrants that they have the legal authority to authorize land clearing on the property provided. It is the client’s responsibility to clearly mark property lines. ScrubX is not liable for disputes arising from incorrectly marked boundaries or lack of clear property pins.
3. Underground Utilities
While ScrubX manages the 811 utility marking process, the client is responsible for identifying and marking private underground lines (e.g., private well lines, irrigation, or invisible dog fences) that are not covered by public utility marking services.
4. Safety & Site Conditions
For the safety of our crew and your property, clients and pets must remain a safe distance (minimum 300 feet) from active machinery during operation. ScrubX reserves the right to pause work if site conditions become unsafe due to extreme weather or unforeseen geological hazards.
5. Payment Terms
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a deposit may be required to secure a project date. The remaining balance is due upon project completion. Late payments may be subject to additional fees as outlined in your individual service contract.
6. Limitation of Liability
ScrubX utilizes low-impact machinery; however, the client acknowledges that land clearing involves heavy equipment. While we take every precaution to protect driveways and healthy timber, ScrubX is not responsible for minor surface wear or damage to unmarked underground private assets.
